What are tools doing on this site? I thought I would pass along some information about various tools I have learned to use that have come in very handy over the years and have saved me from a number of negative impacts. This is a work in progress as is everything else on this site...
"Drag" bag
Buy a nice little soft sided tackle box at Wal-Mart. Take out some of the plastic bins and fill it with spare pantyhose, socks, male clothing for emergencies, water, snacks, and some money.
Spare glue and nail tips
Carry spare nail tips in the color you are wearing if you are using glue-on tips. Always make a few spares in the same color so they match. Carry extra glue to re-attach those tips that mysteriously fall off. I have been using regular nail glue to hold them in place. Use as little as possible, a little goes a long ways, and goes in places you may not want it to go.
Spare car keys
A spare set of car keys can be slipped into the smallest purse, much less aggravation than having to deal with a tow truck operator, don't ask how I know this...
Hemostats
Probably the most under-rated tool around. They can be used to pull your debit card out of the deep slot that your long nails won't allow you grab, to pull a button through a button-hole, to pick up those things that you can't with long nails, and so on. Practice will help with many things, when it won't, reach for the hemostats.
AAA Club card with Plus level

This little card has saved me more than once, it is well worth the cost per year.
